My husband and I moved to Petaluma after falling in love with the community we discovered through research, word of mouth, and a deep desire to raise our family somewhere that truly felt like home. When we welcomed our first child in the spring of 2020, that sense of excitement was quickly met with isolation (thanks, Covid!). Like so many new parents during the pandemic, we felt out of the loop… not that there was much of a loop happening at the time.

Petaluma Mama Nest was born as the idea of a one stop shop for parents and caregivers. Our place is where you can find the latest family friendly events, local mom groups, breastfeeding and postpartum resources, awesome childcare options, and helpful information for families visiting our beautiful county.

Today, we’re still just a small team of local parents with a passion for discovering the best our community has to offer. From weekend happenings and festive seasonal fun to kid tested/ parent approved restaurants, playgrounds, and hidden gems, our goal is simple:
to help families feel connected and informed so there’s more time to explore and create memories together.
